Board Elections

Vote today for the 2024-2025 FAEA Board of Directors!

FAEA Members are encouraged to vote for the upcoming FAEA Board of Directors. The FAEA Board works hard to ensure the association successfully provides members with programs and services that fulfill its mission of supporting high-quality art education for all students in Florida.

Voting is now open and will close on October 6, 2023, at 5:00 pm.

As a reminder, members may vote for President-Elect, Secretary, and their respective division director.

The election results will be announced at the FAEA Annual Conference during the General Session on Saturday, October 7 at 8:30 am.  The winning candidates will serve on the board of directors from January 1, 2024 through December 31, 2025.  

Voting Instructions

1. Click Here
2. Login with the username and password you chose when you joined or renewed your FAEA membership*
3. Click the link that says "President-Elect 2023-2025"
4. Read the profile or vision statement for each candidate and decide who you would like to vote for.
5. Click the button with the name of your chosen candidate.
6. A pop-up will ask you to confirm that you have chosen the candidate for whom you want to vote. Once you click "O.K.," your vote will be permanently recorded
7. Repeat the process for the elections for the Secretary and the director of your division. 

*If you don't know your password, click the "Forgot Your Password" link and enter your username or one of the email addresses we have on file for you. An email will be sent to both your home and work email addresses. If you don't receive your password reset email, check your "spam" folder for a message from web@faea.org. If you don't see the email in your spam folder, call 850-205-0068 or email web@faea.org and confirm that your email address is correct in our database.

Passwords will not be given over the phone--we can only correct your email address so that your password reset link will be emailed to you when you use the "Forgot Password" link.

Your vote is anonymous! Even though we ask you to log in, that is only to make sure your membership is current and to ensure each member votes only once. Votes are stored in a way that makes it impossible to track which candidate you vote for. For this reason, once a vote is cast, it is permanently recorded and cannot be changed.

Members without internet access can vote at the FAEA Conference or by requesting, in writing, a paper ballot. The request must be received by the FAEA office no later than September 15, 2023. Send requests to 402 Office Plaza, Tallahassee, FL 32301 or via fax to 850-942-1793.
