Dr. Jennifer Betz is a graduate of Pratt Institute in New York, later earning M.ed and Ed.D degrees from the University of Central Florida. Dr. Betz advances the profession of art education by teaching at the University of Central Florida and as a clinical supervisor with Brevard County Schools. She has 18 years experience working with students in Pre-K to the college level. Dr. Betz has shared her expertise in ceramics and glass through presentations at FAEA and in print, and has worked with various communities through artist-in-residence workshops. She works extensively with ceramics and glass in her own studio, and has participated in shows throughout Florida. Several community outreaches have introduced the art of glass and ceramics to a wide spectrum of artists and educators, as well as to countless students. Her home and studio is in Brevard County, Florida, which she shares with her husband, daughter, cats and a pug.
